Description
When you have a Cadence twin tip specimen rod in your armoury you have one of the most versatile bits of kit you will ever own. Obviously, the decision of what test curve you are going to buy will be dictated by the species and the venue you are fishing but whether you are wanting to fish for roach, bream, tench or carp in still waters or the likes of barbel and chub on rivers there is a rod in this range that will see the job done. All the rods have a delightful through action on the one piece top which makes for the perfect ledgering rod but also makes a lovely float rod for stillwater and rivers. Then there is the second top to the rod which has two push-in tips making a fabulous tip rod for the likes of bream on stillwaters and roach and chub on rivers. These really are the next generation in Specimen twin tips rods with the added advantaged of looking just as good as they perform.

Got the 1lb version of this rod with a CS10 reel a couple of weeks ago, and have used it twice so far. It’s a beautiful rod, looks great with slim bland and full cork handle and handles itself well where I’ve been using it so far for crucian/hybrids of 3½ – 4lb

My favourite rod when roving for barbel and chub. The twin tip gives you two rods in one. The 1.25lb top is great for when the river is carrying a bit more water or the barbel are feeding. Switching to the quiver tip with the choice of 2 or 3oz tips really helps with those crafty chub bites. It’ll gladly cast out a decent weight and works well with braid and shockleaders when needed. The finish and fittings are the usual top quality you come to expect from Cadence. Great piece of kit.

I’ve got the 1lb version of this rod and it’s an absolute gem.
An anglers rod of that there is no doubt.
Copes with anything and is perfect for tench, bream, chub and barbel of a certain size.
It’s absolutely perfect!

I have the 1.5lb been using it on the Wye and have been very impressed with the ease it has handled. Cracking rod.
