This two-piece rod is perfect for commercial fisheries. It has a lovely progressive action and is a popular choice thanks to its versatility. Equally at home casting small method feeders or normal swimfeeders, it can also be used on rivers for bomb fishing with lobworms and luncheon meat. Comes with three carbon tips in 1oz, 1.5oz and 2oz. Verdict: A mighty rod with a small price tag.

Initial impressions were very good, I couldn’t believe how light and responsive it was for a rod below the £100 barrier. Ive used it predominantly for bomb fishing and had carp up to double figures at messingham and It did the job superbly. Will also chuck a method 50 yards no problem!

This little rod packs a punch, with a lovely action, coupled with the cs7 reel I have had carp to 8lb so far, and this rod handled everyone with ease.

After being allowed back fishing following the lockdown I christened my Cadence CR10 10′ feeder rod #2 rod at Todber Manor. Ten carp in the first ten casts all brought safely to the net. To say I am impressed with the non locking action and lightness of this rod is an understatement. I have a Shimano Speedcast and a Maver Diamond feeder rods and although these rods are double the price they can’t match the Cadence rod for it’s playing action. I am so delighted with this rod I have just ordered the 11′ version.

I bought a pair of these beauties just over a year ago and can’t praise them highly enough. Don’t let the super slim blank fool you – these rods have a fantastic crisp action with power that builds gradually, unlike some parabolic actions that hoop over, look nice but don’t have any backbone. I’ve now used these for everything from chucking feeders 30-40 metres tight to far bank features for proper carp to fishing a maggot feeder for skimmers and ide in the middle of winter and they’ve been brilliant – just a word about the tips, I’ve never known any other multi tip rods where they all blend into the blank so well without having a detrimental affect on the action, usually you’ll get a rod which is always best with a certain tip – not these all perform perfectly.
