About Cadence Ian Gordon 14ft 6in Alta Special
14’ 6” Cadence Alta rod is a quite different addition to the Cadence range of double handed rods. Different, in that this rod has been built to deal with big salmon as well as casting heavy or long lines. Whether this is a short Skagit line whilst fishing in tight areas, or long belly Spey and tournament lines this has the backbone to deliver maximum performance. Another feature of the rod is the ability to deal with large salmon once hooked.
The action is vastly different to that of the current models and will suit the angler who enjoys an extremely fast action rod. Those with a true underhand technique will genuinely love this extremely powerful rod.
We supply this as a bespoke or standard option. The bespoke option can be finished to your personal speck here in the UK, or the standard version in our Cadence Blue. As with all our full size double handed rods, this is only available in a six-piece configuration for ease of travel.
