When we designed this Specimen Quiver, we wanted to keep the traditional quiver features but add a few extras to cater for the modern anglers needs. The main compartment features as ¾ opening that will take a large brolly as well as extra rods. The outer pocket has a full zip access which will accommodate landing nets and bank sticks with ease. The pouched section at the base will accommodate two rods in CL10 Specimen Rod Sleeves (available separately), these are held secure with D-Rings and the clip on each sleeve. For anglers who put their rods in their quivers loose or with tip and butt protectors, Velcro loops and a padded cross bar keeps everything secure and well protected in transit. Finally, the shoulder strap is padded and adjustable, with a rubberised moulded grip handle for comfort and strength – allowing you to walk for miles with ease.
Des Taylor was clear in his design philosophy that he wanted the angler to be able to carry as much as possible in this quiver, but he also wanted it to look good on the bank. The use of Coyote Brown instead of the normal black or green has ticked all the boxes, not only for Des, but the anglers who have seen him fish with the luggage on the bank during testing.
