This rod has been designed primarily with the river trout angler and dry fly fishing in mind. That said, it is also a great tool for traditional upstream nymphing and wet spider fishing. A perfect river rod for small flies, and light tippets including a relatively subtle tip which enhances tippet protection, with an easy to load smooth casting taper and a refined mid-section which helps with feel throughout the casting stroke and adds to casting pleasure. A modern backbone makes it a delight to use whilst playing fish or producing slick smooth accurate delicate casts. A personal favourite.
